When a study archival fails, the following occurs:

• The study status is set to Archival in Progress.
• The administrator who initiated the archival is notified of the status. The administrator does not need to take any action at this time.
• The Site Support team is notified that a manual adjustment is needed.
• The Site Support team investigates the case and makes the necessary adjustments.
• The Site Support team contacts the site to request that they initiate the archival process again.
• Once complete, the study status is set to Archived.
