Note After an individual registers for MyVeeva, a few items can only be updated by them. This includes their email, phone, language, and mobile app-specific settings such as notification preferences and biometrics. Also, if your site is in a location where your sponsor has said you cannot collect personally identifiable information, then the PII information (such as name, email, phone number, or date of birth) is not displayed and cannot be added.
- In the Participants tab, select a participant’s ID.
- Select View Details.
The participant’s details are displayed.
- To update the participant’s details, complete the following steps:
- Select the Edit Participant Details or Edit Caregiver Details button
.
- Update the information you want to change.
- Enter the reason for the change and select Save.
- Select the Edit Participant Details or Edit Caregiver Details button
Note If the sponsor configures a required participant ID format after a participant has already been added, and the participant ID does not align with the configured format, the system will require you to update the participant ID before you can save any other changes.
- To change the participant’s group assignments, complete the following steps:
- Select the Edit Group Details button (
).
- Update the information you want to change.
- Enter the reason for the change and select Save.
- Select the Edit Group Details button (
- To select a different caregiver for the participant, complete the following steps:
- Select Select Another Caregiver.
- Select a caregiver or select Add New Caregiver, and select Next.
- Add or update the caregiver that is assigned to the participant, and select Next.
- Enter the reason for the change and select Confirm.
