Manage study participants, digitize consent forms, and eConsent participants

Create a New eConsent Form

Using SiteVault and the eConsent Editor, you can upload an existing form or create a new form and edit it to meet the needs of the study. The editor imports the content from your form but requires manual adjustments for content structure and signature details.

Step One: Upload Content from an Existing Form

To upload content to import into the eConsent Editor, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Studies.
  2. Select a study.
  3. Select Consent Forms.
  4. Select + Add eConsent.
  5. Select a document from your local folders. The Document Type will default to Informed Consent Form (blank).
  6. Select Upload as Draft.
  7. Review or complete the remaining document actions/fields as needed:
    • Language: Select the appropriate Document Language if different than the default language.
    • Description: Include details specific to this document.
    • Document Date: Select the appropriate date if different than the default date (today). Consider the IRB approval date, if applicable.
    • Veeva eConsent: Select No if this document is intended for paper consenting only. Select Save.
