Moving a plan to its final state is a collaborative process. Regardless of who initiated the plan or who initiated the review process, the site always applies the final approval.
In Site Review
The plan lifecycle moves between the following states:
- Draft: The plan is open for editing.
- In Review: The site has sent the plan for Sponsor/CRO review.
- In Site Review: The site is reviewing the plan.
- Final: The site has approved the plan and it is locked.
Send Plan for Review
Once you are satisfied with the plan, select Send for Review to route it to the Sponsor or CRO for their review. When the sponsor or CRO has completed their review, they will send it back to you for final approval.
Site Review and Approval
Follow the steps below when you receive a plan to review.
- Access the plan.
- Review the plan.
- Select one of the following:
- Select Make Changes to apply any adjustments.
- Enter changes.
- Select Send for Review. The plan will cycle through the review and approval process again.
- Select Approve. The status updates to Final.
- The plan is finalized and can be used for tracking progress.
- Select Make Changes to apply any adjustments.
