MyVeeva and eCOA can be configured to collect information from the following people:

• Participants: ePRO Surveys
• Caregivers: ePRO Surveys
• Study team members: eClinRO Surveys

When ePRO surveys are assigned to participants and caregivers, the surveys appear in the MyVeeva app. They can complete the survey on their device using the MyVeeva app, or they can complete the survey in-person while visiting their study team. If they choose to complete the survey in-person, a study team member will help them start the in-person survey from eCOA. The survey questions and format are always the same for a participant regardless of whether they are opened in the MyVeeva app or from eCOA.

Study team members complete eClinRO surveys using the Veeva eCOA website. When a survey is available, study team members who are allowed to answer the survey can access it. This can be limited based on their role and ability to access restricted data. The system only allows one team member to answer the survey at a given time.
