Who can complete this task?
- Principal Investigators
When the delegation log is ready for approval, the PI is assigned a SiteVault task to review the delegations and apply an eSignature. The PI will receive a notification email with a link to easily access the document/task. The PI can also sign into SiteVault and access the task from Home > My Tasks.
- Access Home > My Tasks (or select the link in the email notification).
- Select Continue from the task.
- Review the delegations. The Table of Contents is linked for easy navigation.
- Select Complete.
- Select a verdict to Accept or Reject your delegations.
- If accepting, provide your login information in the external window to apply your eSignature.
- If rejecting, provide a reason for the rejection.
- Select Complete.
Note You cannot approve or reject single delegations, and your decision applies to all of the delegations that are listed. If needed, you can reject the delegations and enter a reason for rejection. The user who sent the proposed delegations to you will receive a notification with your comment.
