What's New in 20R3.4

February 12, 2021 | Release Number: 20R3.4.02

Participants

You can now track the end-to-end status of study participants, capture important dates, and link them to patients. Linking a participant to a patient rolls up to the patient, which enables you to see related studies when viewing the patient record.

Patients

With this release, you can create patient records in SiteVault using the Profiles > Patients tab and associate them with new or existing participant records from the study record.

Source Documents

When uploading source documents in the Documents > Source Upload tab, you can now select Informed Consent Form (signed) as a document type. Once finalized, monitors can conduct source review.

SiteVault & MyVeeva for Patients: eConsent

Release Considerations Veeva eConsent is currently available to early adopters in SiteVault. If you’re interested in becoming an early adopter, contact Veeva support to learn more.

With this release, you can consent study participants electronically using Veeva eConsent and MyVeeva for Patients directly from SiteVault.

Create new study eConsent documents either from a template or by copying an existing study eConsent document, then edit the document using the Veeva eConsent editor. Once approved, you can send one or more approved eConsent documents to the participant.

The participant receives the forms in MyVeeva for Patients, where they can review and sign electronically. When the participant signs the forms, the forms are automatically uploaded to SiteVault and routed to the site user for countersignature.

Document Inbox

This release allows you to drag and drop up to 250 files into the Document Inbox to create new unclassified documents in bulk. You can track the progress of your upload in a new status dialog, which you can minimize so you can continue working in SiteVault while the upload is in progress. Once the files are uploaded, you can use the Document Inbox to complete (classify) one or more documents at a time.

User Profile

With this release, the User Profile page is updated with a new layout and added customizability. Among other updates, you can choose whether SiteVault sends you individual notifications and emails or a single daily notification and email digest for select events.

Study Team Assignments

Pharmacist is now available as a study role when you’re adding study team assignments.
