A preview of a blank ICF is available for you to view the participant experience. Using the preview, you can click through the consent process as a participant would in MyVeeva for Patients. You or an external user (such as an IEC or IRB) can interact with the preview to see how participants sign, submit, decline, and download the PDF files. A mock user is displayed on the menu and used for the signature. Information entered while previewing a form is not saved to MyVeeva for Patients or SiteVault. The Preview Mode banner displays the name of the user who created the preview, the creation date, and the expiration date.

• External users can view the preview without a SiteVault or MyVeeva for Patients account.
• The preview link expires after 30 days.
• The preview opened from SiteVault is version-specific; you can share a preview of a draft version or a version that is approved for use.
• Checked out forms will offer a preview once checked in.

Preview eConsent Form and Share Preview URL

1. Locate the form.
2. Select Open Preview Link from the Document Actions menu.
3. To share the preview, copy and share the web address (URL).

Preview eConsent Form and Share Import Code (Custom eConsent Builder Only)

The Custom eConsent Builder includes the option to import an eConsent form from your own or another SiteVault. The site that owns the form to be shared must generate and share the code with the receiving site. Import Codes can only be generated on forms that were edited in the Custom eConsent Builder.

To obtain an import code, follow the steps below:

1. Locate the form.
2. Select Open Preview Link from the Document Actions menu (…).
3. Select Share with Code from the preview’s Action menu (…).
   • Only available on forms edited in the Custom eConsent Builder.
4. Copy the provided code.
5. Send to the recipient or use the code to import into a new document in your own SiteVault.
