FTP Access Requirements

Question:

What are the minimum requirements to access the sFTP site?

Answer:

The user must have the following:

  1. An active account
  2. Be able to access the following address:
    • URL: ftps://rtsm-prod.veeva.com
    • Port (if required by FTP client): 990
    • Encryption (if required by FTP client): TLS/SSL Implicit encryption
  3. Have the ability to download and use either WinSCP or Filezilla.
  4. Complete the following before attempting to log into the FTP site:
    • The user account must be enrolled in Self-Service Password Reset.
    • To enroll, browse to https://rtsm-sspr.veeva.com and log in using the credentials sent to you in the email.
    • Follow the instructions presented upon login to complete the enrollment process.
    • NOTE: You will NOT be able to log into the FTP site until the above steps are complete.
