Connecting Your Study to ePRO

Connect your SiteVault to Veeva ePRO to perform ePRO actions and activities for your study.

Note Veeva ePRO is only available to sites conducting a study whose sponsor is utilizing Veeva ePRO in a Clinical Vault.

To connect your study to ePRO, a site administrator can connect your SiteVault to your sponsor’s Clinical Vault if they’re using Veeva ePRO. Site administrators can connect in two ways: either by accepting a connected study invitation from your sponsor or manually entering an ePRO code that your sponsor provides to you.

Accepting a Study Invitation

When your sponsor wants to work with you on a study that uses Veeva ePRO, they send a connected study invitation to you through SiteVault. To learn more about accepting a study invitation from your sponsor, see the Connected Studies section in the Study Connect Help.

Entering an ePRO Code

You can also connect to your sponsor’s ePRO collection by manually entering the study’s ePRO code.

To enter an ePRO code that your sponsor provides to you, complete the following steps:

  1. If the study doesn’t exist in SiteVault yet, navigate to the Studies tab and select Create > Study on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  2. On the study record page, select the ellipses (All Actions ellipses icon).
  3. Select Connect ePRO and enter the ePRO code in the pop-up box.
  4. Select Save. There may be a delay while your ePRO connection is processed, and you receive a notification when it’s complete.
