Signing and Rejecting Consent Forms

Note This functionality is unavailable for participants of sites that cannot collect personally identifiable information (PII).

Overview

The participant can access consent forms in the app before they are enrolled in officially signed up the study. They can access it through an email or through the app.

The user completes the steps below.

Step Task Example Image (Select an Image to Enlarge)
1 On the To Do page, select the eConsent form you want to review. Alternatively, select the View button in the email you received, log in, and then continue to Step 2.

2 Review the consent form and answer any questions.Then select Tap here to sign document or select the draw your own signature link and draw your signature.

Note Tap to sign is only available when the consent form is configured to display it.

3 Select Submit Signed Document. Your document is sent to your study team. When your study team signs the document, the final version will be available in the Consent Forms section of MyVeeva for Patients.

The user completes the steps below.

1 On the To Do page, select the eConsent form you want to fill out.

2 Select the ellipsis menu {The More Options menu button} and select Decline Document. Your document is sent to your study team. It is available in the Consent Forms section of MyVeeva for Patients.
