Managing a Connection to SiteVault

If you are using Veeva eConsent on a study that is also using eCOA, you should connect your SiteVault study to the eCOA study. Once you connect to SiteVault, you are able to add participants that were created in eConsent to eCOA.

Note This connection only needs to be created once.

Connecting eCOA to SiteVault

Complete the following steps to connect an existing SiteVault study with eCOA:

Note You must be assigned to the study in SiteVault to successfully connect.

  1. Open the Study Details tab.

  2. In the Connect to SiteVault section, select Connect.
  3. Search for and select the site name you want to connect to and select Next. To find your site name, open SiteVault and look in the top-right corner.
  4. Search for and select the SiteVault study you want to connect to and select Connect.
  5. Select Close. The eCOA and SiteVault connection is displayed.

Disconnecting eCOA from SiteVault

  1. Open the Study Details tab.
  2. In the Connect to SiteVault section, select the ellipsis button {The More Options menu button} and select Disconnect SiteVault.
  3. In the confirmation dialog box, select the check box and enter the reason.
  4. Select Disconnect. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  5. Select Close. The connection is removed.
