Welcome to SiteVault!
It’s likely that you are here because your site has been invited to participate in a study in which the sponsor or CRO is requesting the use of SiteVault’s Study Connect application. The Study Connect application simplifies study interactions between sites and their study partners. This Help Center contains helpful information about our features as well as step-by-step instructions. Start with this section for a brief introduction to using Study Connect.
Study Connect includes the following features:
- Document Exchange
- Safety Distribution
- eConsent
- ePRO
A Study Connect study may use one or all of the available features.
Training
SiteVault is designed with your convenience in mind, using standard icons and intuitive navigation. Our training materials provide options for those seeking a thorough training experience and those seeking shorter tutorials. In addition to training materials, this knowledge base is updated regularly and our support teams are always happy to assist.
The following training and support options are available:
- Online Training Videos: Peruse our Study Connect Video Series to familiarize yourself with Study Connect tools and navigation.
- Site Success Team: Connect with one of our SiteVault experts.

Logging In and Out
Once your SiteVault account is created, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log in and get started. If you have trouble logging in, please contact our Site Support team.
eRegulatory Application Crossover
SiteVault consists of two applications: Study Connect and eRegulatory. Throughout the Study Connect Help Center as well as in the Study Connect application, you may notice references to the eRegulatory application as the applications can work independently or together. If your site is not using the eRegulatory application, you can simply ignore those references.
Sites using both Study Connect and eRegulatory can navigate between applications by selecting the toggle button in the upper-right corner of SiteVault.
You can access the eRegulatory portion of this Help Center if you’d like to learn more about how it can help you manage all of your studies across all of your sponsors.
Your profile information is located in the upper-right corner of SiteVault. Please take time to review your information and update if needed.
Roles and Permissions
Whether an account is created in Study Connect or eRegulatory, every account is a SiteVault account. To manage the needs of different types of tasks and responsibilities, the access levels and study roles vary between the applications.
Access Levels
Study Connect requires two levels of access: Site Staff and Site Administrators. Every user is added as Site Staff with the ability to be promoted to Site Administrator, if needed. An account created in Study Connect will exist in eRegulatory with the same access level. An administrator can edit the user’s eRegulatory access level if a change is required.
Study Assignments and Roles
When a user is granted access to a study in Study Connect, they will also receive eRegulatory access to the study in the Non-Investigator study role. An administrator can edit the user’s eRegulatory study role if a change is required.
