# Rejecting a Document Action

To reject a document action you received:

1. In the **Document Exchange \> Document Actions** tab, locate the document you wish to reject.
2. Hover your cursor over the empty space in the document’s row next to the _Action_ column.
3. Click the **Reject this document action** icon.
4. Enter **Comments** about the reason for the rejection.
5. Click **Yes** to complete the process.
